Sportable, in partnership with The Richmond Forum, is proud to host an exclusive simulcast event of “The No Barriers Life” keynote address from blind adventurer, Erik Weihenmayer. The event is presented by the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired.

Sportable is proud to host the eighth annual Wayne Samford Memorial Golf Tournament presented by SouthState on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Hunting Hawk Golf Club in Glen Allen, Virginia. Sportable is proud to announce that two members of the Sportable Possums Wheelchair Rugby team, Josh Burch and Mandy Marchanio, have been selected to the inaugural USA Low-Point Wheelchair Rugby practice squad.

Sportable is proud to announce the return of the River City Classic presented by the Paralyzed Veterans of America Mid-Atlantic Chapter March 12-13, 2022. Hosted by the Sportable Rim Riders, the adult wheelchair basketball tournament will feature a dozen Division II and Division III teams from across the east coast at RockIt Sports in Richmond, VA.

Amy Ridolphi decided to become a Sportable Booster Club member (a monthly donor to Sportable) during the pandemic. She recalls observing how Sportable worked so hard to keep athletes active and engaged while other nonprofits shut their doors temporarily or even permanently.
