Sportable’s 2023 Tailgate Season Kicks Off in September

RICHMOND, VA – (Thursday, August 10, 2023) – Sportable, Central Virginia’s premier accessible sports club, is proud to announce the 2023 Tailgate Season will span the month of September. Proudly sponsored by Dominion Energy for the sixth consecutive year, Sportable’s signature fundraising campaign is an extended celebration of community, camaraderie, and inclusivity with a goal to raise critical funds and awareness for the non-profit’s mission to make sports accessible and inclusive for individuals with physical disabilities. Tailgate registration is available now at Sportable.org.

The Sportable Athlete Tailgate hosted by the Associate Board will highlight Tailgate Season with pizza and craft beer on Thursday, September 21. Dozens of Sportable families, donors, and supporters plan to host personalized parties through September 30 with a goal to fundraise $100,000.
