Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU Presents 2024 Wheelchair Basketball National Championships Junior Division Awards Banquet
RICHMOND, VA – (Wednesday, March 27, 2024) – Sportable, Central Virginia’s premier adaptive sports club, is proud to name Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Wheelchair Basketball National Championship Junior Division Awards Banquet. Taking place during the Championship tournament on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Science Museum of Virginia, the Junior Division Awards Banquet will honor outstanding National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Junior Division players, coaches, and teams.

The top 52 junior wheelchair basketball teams in the country will compete for national titles in Prep, Varsity, and Tournament Invitational divisions at the state-of-the-art Henrico Sports & Events Center April 5-7. Prior to the Championship matches, teams will celebrate the 2023-24 season on Saturday, April 6 with dinner, dancing, and a prom-like atmosphere at the Junior Division Awards Banquet. The event is cost-free for athletes and families thanks to supporting sponsors, including Winged Keel and Sportable.
