Sportable’s 2025 Tailgate Season, Powered by Dominion Energy, Kicks Off in September
Richmond — September 2, 2025 — Sportable, Central Virginia’s premier adaptive sports club, is excited to announce the 2025 Tailgate Season will span the month of September. Proudly sponsored by Dominion Energy for the eighth consecutive year, Sportable’s signature fundraising campaign is an extended celebration of community, camaraderie, and inclusivity. The goal is to raise critical funds and awareness for the non-profit’s mission to make sports accessible and inclusive for individuals with physical disabilities.

Sportable families, donors, and supporters plan to host personalized Tailgate parties throughout the month of September with a goal to raise $20,000.

Gifts of any amount will provide critical unrestricted support and will directly impact the lives of hundreds of individuals with physical disabilities, visual impairments, and those requiring physical accommodations through sport, recreation, health and wellness.
