
Sportable Announces Key Staff Promotions and New Hire
RICHMOND, VA – June 25, 2025 – Sportable, the premier adaptive sports club in central Virginia, is proud to announce the promotion of three team members and the addition of a new staff member, strengthening its commitment to empowering individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments through sport and recreation.
Sportable is excited to recognize the outstanding contributions of the following staff members with newly promoted roles:
- David Robbins has been promoted to Community Outreach Manager. David has played a vital role in cultivating relationships within the community, championing Sportable’s mission, and expanding access to adaptive sports across the region. He started at Sportable in June 2023 as an Outreach Coordinator and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
- Tyler Rowe has been promoted to Director of Adaptive Programs. Since joining Sportable, Tyler has demonstrated exceptional leadership in program development and athlete engagement, ensuring high-quality experiences for athletes of all abilities. He started at Sportable in April 2023 as a Program Coordinator and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
- Caitlyn Berry has been promoted to Director of Government Relations, a new role for the organization. Caitlyn will focus on advocacy and strategic communications to help advance the organization’s legislative priorities and strengthen partnerships at the local, state, and national levels. She started at Sportable in December 2021 as the Health and Wellness Outcomes Manager and is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

Sportable is also thrilled to welcome Francine Townes-Jackson as Marketing & Events Coordinator. Francine’s high-caliber experience in event planning and brand communications will be instrumental in enhancing Sportable’s outreach and signature events. She is a graduate of the Brandcenter at Virginia Commonwealth University and Howard University.
“Francine’s creativity makes her a fantastic addition to the Sportable team,” Leemon said. “Her passion for events and marketing will help elevate our mission and amplify the voices of our athletes.”
